Transfer Students
(Admission with Advanced Standing)
Students desiring to transfer to Herkimer County Community College from another college are requested to submit an official transcript of their work to the Admission's Office for evaluation and to follow the regular admissions procedure. Students earning a degree or certificate from HCCC must successfully complete, at HCCC, 30 hours for the degree and 15 hours for the certificate of the total hours required for the program.
Only grades of “C” or better will be considered for transfer credit. Records from other colleges will be evaluated in terms of academic credit applicable to the course offerings at HCCC.
