Concentration designed for students that specialize in an instrument of their choice (including voice) and possess a basic understanding of music theory fundamentals. An interview with the full-time music professor is required to enter this concentration with a possible audition and/or music theory placement exam required if deemed necessary. Courses
HU 213: HU 108 Fundamentals of Music is a pre-requisite for this course. However, a student receiving a 70% or better on the theory placement exam given prior to the first semester (on the same day as the scheduled audition) will fulfill the pre-requisite and enter HU 213.
