This course is designed to familiarize the students with the background, political struggles, battle strategies and the aftermath of the United States Civil War. The focus of the course will be multi-disciplinary; economics, sociology, geography, political science and history will all be used to examine the Civil War. Prerequisite: SS 121 or 122.
