CJ 262 Advanced Computer Forensics and Investigations

This course will examine the computer forensic analysis process and related criminal investigation methods ranging from searching, recovering, imaging, analysis and preservation of evidence on a variety of storage media. The course contents will be supplemented with hands-on exercises, case studies, and projects. Advanced topics such as disk geometry and analysis of non-Windows based systems.
