ED 250 Child Growth & Development

This course provides an opportunity to study human development from the prenatal period through early adolescence, including physical, cognitive, social, and emotional aspects. Theoretical perspectives will be examined & applied to the developing child. Fifteen hours of preservice contacts are required to complete assignments throughout the course. Observation site is located at the Herkimer College Childcare Center, an NAEYC accredited program, or another approved program. Students must provide their own transportation to off-campus locations.
